It is a face or body treatment using focused ultrasound waves to stimulate the deep supporting layers of the skin

The procedure starts with marking out treatment area with grid lines

As the Ultraformer device is applied to the skin, warm pulses of ultrasound energy are delivered

We use treatment perimeters to ensure your comfort throughout

It is a quick fast treatment time of 2o mins to 1 hour

Instant results can be seen but the regeneration created by the treatment session takes time to improve the skins structures of around 4 to 12 weeks (depending on depth and which treatment has been carried out)

Some patients may experience slight redness and swelling on the treated areas ranging from a few hours up to a few days. There may also follow temporary bruising and numbness on the areas treated.

If you were concerned with the effects of gravity and wanted to firm up the jowl area we would need to work on the SMAS layer deep under the skin. One treatment will see results over time and we would not recommend another treatment before the 12 week period

If your concern was expression line areas we recommend one treatment but as these can be performed more superficially we are able to treat monthly

If your concern was a body treatment we are working at the deep subcutaneous layer and we would recommend a course of 3 treatments every 4 weeks for best results

You can have a one off treatment and you will benefit from the difference it will make. The independent clinical trials prove results

But this is similar to going to the gym once, and as ageing takes place all year round it does make sense to back treatments up where possible with further treatments. This will increase your own collagen and elastin stores naturally tightening and firming improving with each next treatment
